Ways to get Tibet Visa:
If you are planning to visit from mainland China like Beijing, Chengdu, Xian, Xining, etc., or any other city of china, you need to take an individual Chinese visa in your own country.
If you are traveling to Tibet via Nepal, then your Nepal Travel agent will apply for a Tibet permit three weeks ago of your travel date. After landing in Nepal, your Travel Agent will take your original Passport and start to process applying for a visa.
- It will take 3 to 4 working days to get visa.
Document for applying for Tibet Visa:
- Color Tibet Permit.
- If you book Nepal Tibet Tour by Nepal Local Agent, then they will process Tibet Permit with the coordinating Tibet Local Tour Operator. So you need to send color and clear passport copy before 3 - 4 weeks of your travel date.

Original Passport:
After getting Tibet Permit and upon arrival in Nepal, We need an original Passport for applying for Tibet Visa. Passport must be a valid minimum of six months. While you are taking Nepal Visa, please request Nepal multiple entry visas. After arrival in Nepal, we will fill the form and arrange Bio-metric date then you have to be present in Chinese Visa Section for for Bio-Metric.
