Detailed Itinerary of Everest Base Camp Kalapatthar Trek
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Himalayan Asia Treks representative welcome in the airport and transfer to on your selected hotel. After fresh up in the hotel, our representative will give a short briefing for the upcoming days.

Day 02: Kathmandu City Tour and Trek Preparation.
After taking breakfast, your tour guide will come to your hotel and transfer to Kathmandu City Tour: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. After finishing Kathmandu City Tour, you can check your goods for Everest Base Camp Kalapatthar Trek. If anything is missed, you can buy or rent with assistance from our staff.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla, Trek to Phakding (2610m/ 4hrs).
After taking breakfast, transfer to the airport for taking a flight towards Lukla (2860m). After landing in unique places in Lukla, we will start our hiking towards Phakding. We will meet our Sherpa staff at Lukla. Everest Base Camp Kalapatthar Trek trail is descending towards Dudhkoshi River and join the main route to Namche Bazar. While reaching Phakding, we will pass Ghat village.

Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m/ 6hrs).
After taking breakfast, we move towards Namche Bazar. We cross Dudh Koshi river, a majestic river many time exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. On the way, we can see Kusum Kanguru(6369m) and Thamserku(6623m). The trek continues upstream on generally flat terrain, traveling back to the right bank and continuing the Bhote Koshi and Dudh Koshi rivers. From here, we steep ascent to the Namche Bazar. This Bazar is called a gateway to Mt. Everest.

Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazar.
After breakfast, Trekking start-up 3 to 4 hour climb up from the Namche. At 3,500 meters, traditionally, the Namche village is a trading post, with locals bartering yak cheese and butter and a suitable place for agricultural goods in lower altitudes. In Namche Village, trekkers can explore museums, monasteries, cafes, and other local groceries.

Day06: Trek to Tengboche (3860m/5hrs).
The trek from Namche Bazar to Tengboche trail continues along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Koshi with magnificent views of the mountains. We trek to an altitude of 3867 meters today. On the way, we will visit Tengboche Monastery, which one is oldest monasteries in the Everest region. The trekking group will observe a prayer ceremony either in the evening or morning, depending on how the day's trekking went.

Day07: Trek to Pheriche (4280m/5hrs).
After taking breakfast, we move towards Pheriche. Next, we can see Imjatse valley beneath the mighty peaks of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, and Lhotse with the views of snow-capped mountains, including island peaks. Finally, we pass Pangboche (an old village picturesque Sherpa settlement where you can see a fascinating monastery).

Day08: Trek to Lobuche (4930m/6hrs).
After taking breakfast, we move towards Lobuche. Today, we see best views of Mt. Tawache, Ama Dablam, North Pokalde, Komgma- Tse and Nuptse. We pass Phalanx Karpo and Dugla. From Dugla, we ascend towards the moraine of the Khumbu glacier. Overnight in Lobuche.

Day09: Trek to Gorakshep (5170m/6hrs).
After taking breakfast, we move to Gorakshep. After starting trekking, we can View different peaks, like Cholatse and Lobuche, on the spectacular landscape. Next, we trek to the Dhugla Ridge and onto moraine towards the Khumbu Glacier. From Gorakshep, hikers explore stunning views all day today of Pumori and Nuptse. After taking lunch, hike to Kala Patthar (5545m), one of the finest viewpoints in the Khumbu. Overnight in Gorakshep.

Day10: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5380m) and back to Lobuche (4930m)/6hrs.
After taking breakfast, we reach our final destination.
We trek close by the Khumbu Glacier because the way twists over the rough moraine towards the settlement of Gorak Shep. We are high, among the ice sheets of the world's most elevated pinnacles. In the wake of investigating the Everest base camp, we return to Lobuche. Overnight in Lobuche.

Day11: Trek to Dingboche (4350m/6hrs).
After breakfast, trek to our private permanent camp at Dingboche; soon after setting off, we reach the site of a row of cairns to Sherpa climbers who died on Everest before we continue to the small settlement at Tugela. Our path on an old lateral moraine takes us to the remote village of Dingboche and our permanent camp. To the east, at the head of the Imja Khola valley, sits the pyramid peak of Imja Tse (6189 m). This afternoon we can walk up the ridge behind Dingboche for sunset views of Nuptse, Lhotse, and Chhukung Peak. Overnight in Dingboche.

Day12: Trek to Namche (3860m/6hrs).
After taking breakfast, we move towards the Namche Bazaar. There is often a bent now to rush, mainly as we walk downhill, but there's still much to ascertain. The trail is ascending towards Pangboche and visits its historic old monastery, thought to be the oldest in the Khumbu.

Day 13: Trek to Lukla (7 hrs).
Today is the last day of Everest Base Camp Kala Patthar Trek. The trail is the same while going to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar.

Day 14: Fly to Kathmandu.
After taking a flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, you can rest while you are in Kathmandu. Today is the free day for taking a rest and buying souvenirs for your friends and family. Our representative will take you to the local cultural restaurant for dinner and a cultural program in the evening.
